"Exceptional Care"

I was kept in overnight due to some complications during a recent Hysteroscopy procedure.

I really want to thank all the nurses that looked after me including Lynsey who was amazing and took time to check on me, explain everything to me and listened to all my concerns.

Mary who gave me the most delicious food, pots of Tea with my fave biscuits (Bourbon creams) and was so kind to me throughout my stay.

Judith during my overnight who was so easy to talk to and cheered me up with some much needed laughs and kept me company by checking in on me throughout the night as I was the only one on the ward overnight.

There were others who were also fantastic but unfortunately I can’t remember all their names. But what a team I had looking after me, it wasn’t just about how well they did their job but the level of humanity, kindness and empathy was amazing and so important at a time when I felt most vulnerable and afraid.

I also want to thank the Doctor and Anaesthetist who took time to explain things and answer all my questions. They were really down to earth and made me feel at ease. Although my procedure didn’t quite go to plan through no one’s fault, my experience was a very positive one due to the exceptional care given to me by all the amazing staff.
