"Compassion and empathy from bereavement service with continued support"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Greater Manchester Bereavement Service

(as a service user),

My husband Bernie passed away in March after a long illness.

At my lowest point in June I saw the bereavement service telephone number in the local living brochure. It was a God send, I phoned the number straight away and Kelly spoke to me with such compassion and empathy. She sent me details of bereavement support in my area. After a few weeks I was offered counselling on a weekly basis. Kelly also continued to call me every week for help and support. She was able to understand my pain and explain my confusion and I will be eternally grateful to Kelly for helping me to face a new chapter of my life. I still have a long and bumpy journey ahead but with the counselling and hope, I am travelling the right direction.

Thank you Kelly..... With love, appreciation and friendship.

Thank you GM Bereavement service for you valued work.
