"Trying to rearrange appointment"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Clinical Investigations Unit

(as a service user),

Tried phoning appointment telephone number and left my name and number, but no call back. 

Was trying to rearrange appointment. 

Had to cancel work , had no problem in the past when phoning, but it now appears appointments have now been transferred to Ninewells office. 

This seems a waste of time and money when there must be perfectly able ward clerks office at Perth Royal Infirmary.

Dear Pri pat,

Thank you for raising your concern about rearranging appointments. I can advise that the lack of response to your telephone message has been raised to the Administrative and Clerical manager who will discuss with the individual involved. We would expect that the administration team would reply within an appropriate time frame, and I am sorry this did not happen on this occasion.

Due to lack of administration staff in PRI, and in order to streamline appointments between the two CIU's, the decision has been taken to centralise booking in Ninewells.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. Please be reassured that the administration staff are aware to respond to all messages and your care opinion will be shared with their team.
