About: Mater Hospital / Macular Unit

(as the patient),

Needing to return the following week after an eye test to get an injection means 2 days off work for me which isn’t a positive change, the delay is also negative on my eye

Dear lionkr85

Thank you for your feedback regarding the amended appointments system at the Macular Clinic. This was introduced to increase the number of patients treated each day as previously not all scans resulted in patients needing an injection and the injection slots were then not being fully utilised.

I would value your getting in touch with us to help us to learn more as we evaluate this system. This can be done through the patientexperience@belfasttrust.hscni.net email address so we can discuss your views further.

We look forward to hearing from you.
