I stayed in trauma unit for a week.
Cared for very well, could tell it was understaffed at first. I was moved to let a drug user have my space who was very abusive towards staff and others.
Then the guy next to me was sent home and then another drug user was next to me. Security had to called because of how bad they was, then they was smoking in one of the rooms which had oxygen in.
I got moved away from them, and got a date for my op which is two weeks after my accident. I was on morphine in hospital and said I could go home and wait, and I said as long as I have strong enough painkillers.
I've got home and they have give me wrong ones, and now I'm in a lot of pain. I've been ringing trauma for over a hour, they was supposed to be contacting me so now I'm guna have to travel back to try and sort stuff out.
I'm expected to go back for an operation. Staff are excellent but have way too much to deal with. Not a happy patient.
