About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics)

(as a parent/guardian),

My son attended Blossom Ward for ENT surgery recently - we were very lucky to be offered a cancellation for surgery the day before.

Aside from the excellent new facilities, I was so impressed with the compassion, hard work and team working among all staff - ward nurses, doctors, theatre team, porters, auxiliary & student nurses, domestic & catering staff. It really takes a team to run the hospital 24/7.

The Blossom ward staff were about to hold their fundraising weekend for their late colleague, and I really admire them for their resilience in looking after our children whilst grieving her late colleague who passed so tragically.

Well done everyone & Thank you.
