My teenage son was recently admitted through A&E at RHC and treated in Ward 3C with a fractured fibula and tibia.
The care, treatment, and support delivered by the multidisciplinary team, were excellent throughout his journey from admission to A&E, his stay in Ward 3C, and support for discharge with the Orthopaedic team.
Whilst the NHS is working under incredibly challenging circumstances post-pandemic, not once was this made evident. The care, professionalism, and above all kindness shown to my son and our family was exactly how we all would want it to be, excellent! Thank you all so much for the role you play in the delivery of excellent care.
The only gripe my son had was the hospital food which should be healthy and appetising to aid recovery, which unfortunately it is neither!
"Quality care, professionalism, and above all kindness"
