About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery University Hospital Hairmyres / Theatres, Recovery & Anaesthetics

(as a service user),

Knee replacement surgery this week under the care of Mr Grant and the rest of the day surgery / theatre team at Hairmyres Hospital. This was followed by an overnight admission to ward 7, where I was again looked after by the team of nurses, physio staff, catering and domestic staff and many more.

I experienced excellent care and kindness from all the team from the minute I entered the hospital until I was discharged. I want to give a big shout out to them all for the wonderful job they do, and always with compassion. I am  home now and on the mend. Thank you.
