"I felt fully supported while on the programme"

I had a stent put in and was referred to cardiac rehab and would like to share my experience

I met with the cardiac rehab team and was put on a weekly exercise class which I fully enjoyed. We did exercise to make the heart pump fast and then some cool down and relaxation exercise to slow it back down.

Abi the physiotherapist was always there to reassure us and make sure we was doing ok and not in any pain or discomfort. I felt fully supported while on the programme and Abi was always available to speak to if there was a problem.

I fully enjoyed the sessions, Abi was brilliant and went that extra mile to make sure the classes were enjoyable and to us patients liking. I would like to thank Abi and the team as I now feel confident to do things I was scared to do before.
