Self directed support. For 2:1 24/7 service had a good and supportive budget allocation.
But there is no agency emergency cover, as they won’t work with non-companies. Leaving family as emergency cover is not good enough. This needs a new service for a pool of personal assistants as casual workers, who can know the people who sign up to the service and be called when needed. Currently a big gap in services.
