I got rushed to Crosshouse hospital with my kidneys failing after getting an infection from getting stents put in. I was really scared and worried all the nurses in the renal unit couldn't have been any nicer to me and put me at ease.
There was Paula, Molly, Carrie and Wilma also there was another nurse that was there for me she washed n dried my hair tried to make me feel better. In particular Wilma nursed me my first 2 nights and stayed with me and re assured me after my wound started bleeding and I panicked. She was amazing so reassuring. I could never thank her or the staff at the renal enough for looking after me.
When I got rushed to Hairmyres at the beginning of September a nurse accompanied me and she was so understanding and made me feel relaxed in an awful situation. An amazing ward with amazing nurses that work so hard and genuinely care about their patients. I couldn't thank them enough.
