Anything else?
Following the insertion of two stents in my heart in March 2013 the follow-up out patient visits were very helpful on matters of diet and exercise and also very reassuring. At the end of those visits though I imagine that it would be very easy to forget much of the advice particularly about exercise. The six weekly sessions of cardio rehab commencing on 27th June persuaded me of the on-going importance of exercise but also gave further explanations on drugs, diet and the causes of heart problems. All the sessions were well led and structured. Especially on the exercise sessions there was a wonderful mixture of persuasion and encouragement necessary for those of us who do not naturally exercise for 30minutes! There was also care to create a team feeling so that all of us from diverse backgrounds felt part of a common purpose. I was sorry when the sessions ended!
