I have ongoing health issues, heart, degenerative disc disease, arthritis and a fracture of the spine, along with other medical issues. One nurse sat and rolled their eyes at me, laughing and joking with a student nurse, counting my scans laughing and saying how much this would all cost if it wasn't on the NHS.
Also, a heart consultant said to me that I was well known to the team. It made me feel so sad and upset as it’s making me embarrassed as if they all think it’s in my head. Also, recently a neurologist said to me that they will arrange a head scan , as it’s only scan I haven’t had. I felt so embarrassed. It makes me feel that I don’t want to go to any future appointments but I need to as my pain is terrible and I am on the strongest painkillers you can have.
