I have been going to the Cancer van for quite some time. Firstly for my tablets (targeted cancer drug) which unfortunately have ceased to be effective so now back on a different chemotherapy drug. I recently had a picc line fitted at Boston Pilgrim however I can go to the Cancer van to have it flushed.
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou for this service. Lincolnshire is a huge county and as a cancer patient, being able to access a wonderful local service makes such a difference to me and to the other patients that access it.
The Cancer Van is brilliant, not just because it can travel to different locations and is so well equipped. It is the staff that make it so. A big thank you to Lynne and the other nurses who provide the treatment in such a professional and kind way.
I must also mention and thank the driver Steven, a kind and professional member of the team. As a patient, that’s a bit nervous, worried, even scared despite being positive, it’s so important to be greeted in a positive caring way.
They are a wonderful professional and caring team. Thank you
"They are a wonderful professional and caring team."
