"At all times I felt safe and secure"

About: Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Surgical 2 ward after being rushed into A&E in Coleraine recently. After various procedures in A&E I was admitted to Surgical 2 while I awaited for an ultra scan to find out what was wrong with me.

As I suffer from dementia the hospital supported my care by getting all the necessary information about my medical history.

When my daughter made any contact to the ward about my wellbeing she was always listened to and she received very clear information about how I was keeping.

All members of staff from porters auxiliary staff nurses and doctors were extremely kind and caring to me especially when my memory wasn't very clear...

At all times I felt safe and secure which was the most important factor for me as I was being treated.

I would just wish to say thank you which seems very small considering the amount of time and support I was given.
