About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

Long story short, I've been in 3 accidents at work in less then 12 months. Now it's been 2 year and something from my last accident which it was the most severe one. Because I had so many accidents I wasn't able anymore to do the day-to-day activities and to maintain my normal weight, which was very depressing for me. Because of all the accidents I was unable to do the things that I was enjoying like watching TV, going to gym, going for a walk and many basic things. I was very upset to myself and very frustrated.

I was waiting long time to have the therapy and to be honest I was also very skeptical to have therapy. I had before therapy for other problems when I was young but didn't help me. When I start to have the therapy on the first day I was just overwhelmed and I was just crying for half of the session. After my first session I knew that my therapist is going to help me with my insecurity and my mental health.

To be honest the therapy and my dog are the best thing that happened to my in the past 2 years, 3 months. I'm very grateful to my therapist (Jade) because of her now I don't think bad about my self and I feel better physically and mentally. Because of her now I have a routine and I learned how to stick to it.

Jade has been so kind and helpful I am very glad that she's been my therapist. I can't thank her enough for the help that she has given to me. The best therapist that I ever have. Thanks for all the support and understanding.

Hi Bubu16,

Thank you so much for this kind response to your experience of therapy with Inclusion Thurrock and your therapist, Jade. I have passed on these kind words to her.

Experiencing low moods and frustration can be very common after accidents or changes in our lives. We’re glad that, with the help of Jade, you were able to learn how to implement a routine in your life, overcome those difficult thoughts and feel better both physically and mentally. I’d encourage you to continue to practice the tools and techniques that you began to implement in therapy, to help you thrive going forward!

It is so pleasing to read that you did develop such a strong therapeutic relationship with Jade, and were able to feel supported and understood throughout your time with us. The improvements you have seen in your wellbeing are testament to the effort you put into your therapy, so please do continue with this same dedication in your own time. Well done for reaching this stage of your journey and good luck with your future endeavours!

Best Wishes,
Conor
