"Operation waiting times"

I was put on a list for a gynaecological operation last year. I was advised at the time there was a 12-month waiting list. I'm still awaiting the surgery that would improve my day-to-day life.

I have recently seen my consultant and they have advised that they're unable to provide a time scale as they have no control over their lists.

I understand cancer patients are a priority but feel I'm being forgotten about. I'm under a consultant at University Wishaw Hospital. I have also been asked several times about going private. This condition is affecting my mental health
