"Help from secretary"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63)

(as a service user),

I was referred by private dentist to be seen my maxillofacial team but hadn't received an  appointment yet.  I wasn't sure how long waiting list for referrals were.

After becoming more concerned about my health I contacted the maxillofacial secretary, Robyn, and explained my situation and wondered when I would be seen. Unfortunately the dentist hadn't sent my referral over. Robyn could not have been more helpful and compassionate to my situation! She instructed me what to do and was able to have the dentist send the referral to herself. I contacted again the next day to explain my worry and Robyn was clearly sympathetic and was able to arrange for a doctor to see me the next day.

I am now much more at ease about my situation & believe this was down to Robyn's kind, caring actions. Thank you so much again.
