About: Basildon Hospital / Accident and emergency Basildon Hospital / General medicine Basildon Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a service user),

Before I start. I cannot thank the people looking after my mum enough. She has been treated with dignity (of sorts) and with kindness and respect.

Background... difficulty breathing.

Diagnoses...sepsis at one time then pneumonia and bladder infection, fluid round the heart.

But... Sunday A&E Basildon.

Monday early afternoon -  Lister ward in the corridor on a trolley with oxygen.

Monday...late evening  aprox Lional Cosin ward.

Tuesday...during the night..AMU west.

Wednesday during the night ...William Harvey

My mum is in her late nineties!

I won't bore you with the broken systems, equipment and lack of facilities.

It's all BROKEN!!!
