Hello, This is NOT a complaint letter. It’s the opposite, but I couldn’t locate other forms.

I would like to send my sincere gratitude and thanks to Ian and the team of carers from SAC. From June 2022 until today Ian and the team of carers have been wonderful in their care of my Aunt. Prior to that, Nicola was also extremely helpful in getting the ball rolling until she took her new position and Ian took over.

My sisters and I live in Canada and we have relied heavily on the South Ayrshire Social Work team to care for my Aunt. Now that she’s moved into a care home, I’d just like to ensure that they are all recognized for the wonderful work that they do. It’s been difficult, because of the distance, but they have been amazing and communication was excellent. My thanks to you all.

Please let them all know how wonderful we think they are. I’m advised that they are not allowed to receive gifts, so a letter of commendation on their personal files would be appreciated. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to submit your story with us. We do have other feedback methods although thank you for using Care Opinion.

I appreciate what a difficult time this must have been especially with the distance for yourself, your Aunt and your family although I am so delighted that the Carers, Ian and Nicola have been able to ease this for you all. I will ensure the Carers, Ian and Nicola are given your feedback and I can assure you they will all appreciate your kind words. I will ask their managers to place on each of their files and there is also a carers newsletter which I can add this too.

I really hope your Aunt is settling in well, Take care.
