(as a service user),

As many other times before, I attended the surgery to ask for repeat prescription. And as usual, I found the receptionist rude, impolite, unprofessional and outright unpleasant to speak to.

I find the staff unhelpful to me and many times do not process my medication request correctly, often delaying my medication, making me have to return twice and make extra trips to the pharmacy with urgent requests.

I often feel discriminated against and I suggest the front desk staff to be trained to understand there are other persons with different racial descriptions rather than Caucasian that attend the surgery.

Dear Patient,

I regret learning that you are dissatisfied with our service. I want to respond to each of your concerns.

Repeat Prescription: Our pharmacy team is strong, and our repeat medication policy is rigorous. Unless the request has been made well in advance, all requests are accepted in writing to prevent errors and are completed within 48 hours.

Front Desk Staff: I am very sorry to hear that you found our employees to be unfriendly. If the service is poor, you can always ask to speak with management. If you let us know which day you weren't satisfied with the service, we can evaluate the calls and take the appropriate action.

Discrimination: We have a diverse group of staff at our practice and we take pride in treating all patients equal with care and professionalism.
