(as a relative),

My Mother was admitted into Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, recently with difficulty breathing, and a then unknown illness. The care she recieved in the ICU was incredible, she was looked after day and night, with such dedication and professionalism.

She moved down to Ward 42 later into her recovery, where the nurses were so kind and the doctor's care was unparalleled. We were allowed to bring food into the ward to encourage Mum to start eating again, and this allowed her recovery to improve quickly. We, her family, will always be so thankful for everyone involved with her care, during her stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences of the care of your Mother during her recent stay. I am really pleased to hear that throughout her journey in our care here at Ninewells, she has felt well supported and that as a family you have also felt supported and assured that your Mother had the best care and treatment possible.

I am delighted to share your comments with the team in Ward 42, I know they will be very pleased - we strive to deliver the best person centred care for everyone.
