I experienced a vitreous haemorrhage and the blood blurred my vision. I was completely panicked - it happened so fast, while I was sitting at my desk... first lines appeared... and then it became blurred.
After two calls with 111 and getting nowhere, I rang the Neaman Practice. Poor Colleen could barely understand what I was saying, between my sobs! She told me to go straight to Moorfields, and the staff there were fantastic.
The eye was operated on the next day, and two weeks on, my sight is virtually back to normal. I was so grateful for Colleen's quick thinking and reassurance. Hugely comforting! The team at NP are truly amazing.
