"They are amazing with us"

About: Rampton Hospital / National High Secure Healthcare Service for Women

(as the patient),

Enjoying Horticulture I’m loving it, loving it, loving it.

I like the routine I have there, I like feeding the ducks and watering them. I like seeing them bathing in the water I put out for them to drink, it's funny.

I have learnt about the different watering can heads, and when to use them specifically, I like the routine we have when we go.

Definitely, it’s really helped with my mental health, the animals are really therapeutic.

Nothing to be different, I like the way it is, it's nice.

I like the idea of donkeys and goats.

I’d just like to say how supportive, and looked after Mark, Simon and Terry make us feel. They understand our needs, the banter is really good. They are amazing with us.

A huge thank you for taking the time to post this, I know from speaking with you all that you really value the sessions at horticulture and the staff there will greatly appreciate the feedback.

It is good to know when we get it right, it gives us focus moving forward about what works for patients

regards

Helen

Thanks so much for posting this positive feedback I will make sure Mark, Simon and Terry and the DRC team know!

Routine is so important for everyone's mental health and motivation so the skills you are learning in the area is also an added bonus:-)

We hope to have some donkeys in the future but want to make sure the ground is safe for them first so we have a bit of work to do before that happens.

Take Care

Kay
