"Impressive support services team"

During the few days I spent in Altnagelvin (ward 32) recently I came into contact with many members of the support services team. Each and every one of them were pleasant and competent at their jobs, often going above and beyond to help me out. Especially the catering staff on the ward who brought me additional equipment when required. 

I’d like to give a special mention to the most lovely lady that I came across. A porter was called to bring me to a scan and I was lucky enough for it to be Assunta - a kind, caring woman who is absolutely brilliant at her job.

This was clear with not only my own experience with her, but also in the way I watched her communicate with fellow staff members across the hospital along our journey. She’s a credit to the trust and surely deserves some appreciation.
