About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Trauma Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came into hospital this day last week via an ambulance and came straight into the trauma ward. I am happy with how I am being cared and feel well looked after. I am now waiting on surgery after they discovered an issue I had but I am well informed on my any updates about when my procedure is. I was getting quit anxious but the staff reassured me of exactly what was involved with everything which really put me at ease. The ward itself is brilliant, it is far bigger than I ever imagined and the layout means there are so many patients without it feeling too overwhelming. The facilities on the ward are great and I have my own tv which provides entertainment. The food is yummy also, which I am very grateful for.

It is very important to myself and the staff that patients feel this way. It is encouraging to know that the staff are keeping you well informed regarding your care, as I appreciate how important this is. To know that you are happy wit the facilities on the ward is reassuring. I will be sure to share your feedback with all the staff.
