"Fantastic care given."

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Stroke care (Ward 17, 31, 36)

(as a relative),

All of the staff in the stroke ward were very attentive to my 98 year old late gran. My gran had advanced dementia and sadly had a stroke during her stay in hospital. She was promptly moved to ward 31. All of the nurses, healthcare support workers, domestics and doctors were amazing. The SCN was very involved in the family situation and ensured all family members were involved in my grans care. My gran had never been so settled as she was in the ward. At the end of her life she was treated with dignity and given a single room as soon as it became available.

Fantastic care given.

Thank you, from our family.

Dear Travellerrf46

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Gran. It is heartening to hear that the staff were there to support you all at this difficult time, and that your Gran was settled in the ward and treated with dignity and respect. I hope this gives you some comfort.

On behalf of the staff in Ward 31, thank you for your kind comments, we really appreciate you taking the time.

Take Care

Nicole
