"Consultant was so rude"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) 1 & 2

(as the patient),

I had to go in hospital, I had pnenmonia, I was proper poorly and I was on AMU. It was full of women, young and old two women I didn't Iike on the ward, one kept going on about her ex-partner, the older woman just kept moaning, it was hell, they kept waking me up.

They didn't give me all my meds, the staff were lovely, nurses, but a consultant was so rude, nasty and very bossy, did not like them at all.

This was at RCHT in Truro, Cornwall. You go in hospital to get better, you come out tired and it's so boring in there, hated it, that consultant was so rude and needs to smile and learn manners, in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I am sorry to see that you have had such a negative experience here at RCHT.

I was saddened to see the the consultants were rude, very bossy and lacked manners. I am sorry that the environment wasn't ideal for you to feel better in and that you didn't receive all of your medication. I am glad, however, that the nurses were lovely.
