I just want to say thank you to all the staff who looked after me. I was admitted through my GP to AU 1 . I had a very high temperature and needed oxygen.
The team sprang into action and quickly got me settled and started treating me. I was so glad to be there and getting help as I really didn’t feel well. They were so kind to me and kept checking I was ok. The next day I was transferred to ward 53 where I stayed for 5 nights. The staff there are fantastic so friendly and caring. The medical team were relentless in trying to find out what had caused my to become so ill. I felt very cared for by the whole team. The nurses going about their, what seemed endless tasks, with a smile for me.
Well I do like my grub and the hospital catering was delicious!!! Choices everyday tasty soup. roast beef, curry and always pudding, yummy! The domestic staff always had a friendly chat whilst they were busy working. I was discharged on the Monday and can only say that our NHS is amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰
