About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical) Victoria Hospital / Colorectal Unit Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

In July 2023 I had to have an endoscopy, and a colonoscopy. From the start the nurses made me feel so relaxed. They were so welcoming and so supportive.

I had a lovely nurse called Lyn who prepped me, and another lovely nurse who did the paperwork and gave me all the information. I’m so sorry I have forgotten her name.

My endoscopist was Lynne, and she was fantastic! She explained everything in detail and helped me relax. The whole experience from start to finish was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be! Very little pain and discomfort. I can’t fault them at all, they were incredible!

When I went to recovery all the nurses there were amazing too! So attentive, and we had a good laugh too.

I was so impressed with my care, and I honestly can’t thank the staff enough!!

They do such a great job, and need to be thanked more! ❤️
