"Change is hard"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Woodlands Resource Centre

(as the patient),

I went to a group for mindfulness at Woodlands falkirk which run by two women, Joanne and Michelle.  They were so lovely and friendly and funny they make you feel so welcome and part of the team.

It was my first time at this course and it has helped my life so much.  I can't thank them enough, the skills are so helpful to focus on what's important to yourself and learn what's important in your life;  to get rid of the bad and learn to get rid of the folk that are bad in your life without feeling bad in doing so.  To learn to take time for yourself without folk making you feel selfish for doing so and learning to have 2 minutes of switching your mind off to relax and reset your breathing.

I just can't imagine my life now without these skills to face the rest of my life. Change is hard but keep at it, it does work.

Thank you so much Joanne and Michelle, you are great women and amazing at your job.

I will miss seeing you both 😊
