"Being hospitalised after a stroke"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Stroke Unit (Ward 11)

(as the patient),

Had a brain haemorrhage stroke due to high blood pressure and was hospitalised for 8 weeks and felt vulnerable and depressed.  I was pleased with the nursing care and the support I received from the OT, physio and consultant was good.

Dear Chihuahua Daddy,

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion.

I am so sorry to hear about your brain haemorrhage stroke and that you were feeling vulnerable and depressed. I am so glad that the support you received from the nursing staff, physio, OT and consultant was good and I hope this helped you. It would be a pleasure to share your kind words and feedback with the whole team.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
