I was in a lot of pain with limited movement in August 2022 and was very lucky to be referred to the Condition Management Program by a physiotherapist. I spoke to a lovely lady called Aine who was wonderful to talk to and quickly worked out that I was under enormous stress and had been for quite some time. She advised that I work with Paddy to build up a repertoire of exercises.

The physio sessions with Paddy helped me manage back pain, wrist pain and shoulder pain. It helped me understand the need to keep moving and strengthen my body in order to increase my range of movement. This was further supported by Seamus who devised a daily exercise routine which enabled me to work beyond my debilitating aches and pains.

I was blown away by the service especially the counsel of a therapist called Harry. All together this team of remarkable professionals helped me enormously. They are worth their weight in gold for the service they offer.

The multidisciplinary staff you worked with within the Condition Management Programme– Aine the Occupational Therapist, Paddy the Physiotherapist, Seamus the Exercise Professional and Harry the Cognitive Behavioural Therapist will be delighted when I share your feedback describing them as ‘remarkable professionals’, ‘worth their weight in gold’.

As the acting CMP Coordinator it is very heartening to receive such positive feedback of your experience of the service. You have explained how the various different disciplines worked together with you to help you improve management of your pain, particularly the physiotherapist and exercise professional.

Thank you so much for taking time out to provide this feedback it is greatly appreciated and valued and will provide the staff with encouragement to continue to use their skills to provide the best service they can for each participant going forward.
