"This is my escape, my safe space"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Basingstoke

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

We really liked how things were before Covid. It would be really good if we could have the area downstairs again as a place to come in and feel safe and grab a coffee. We used to have a SU kitchen and breakfast clubs.

This is my escape, my safe space.

Thank you for your post and feedback.

We are continuingly developing our services post Covid and in Basingstoke we a currently working on offering drop in clinics during the week and reopening one evening a week, so please watch this space!

You are more than welcome to use the reception area as a safe place, or to talk to a member of the team, and just let us know and we will happily make you a coffee too!

We have recently put in place new tables and chairs in reception, so that the area is a little more comfortable and lends itself to clients using whilst they are waiting for appointments or for a space to reflect or relax.

Watch this space!
