Anything else?
The service that I had received right from the beginning was excellent. At first I entered the urgent care unit where I was seen to very quickly. Everything was explained to me very simply, whilst at the same time effectively. After being moved into the surgical ward 8 (balmoral) again the treatment was fantastic. It was very clear that I was suffering and all the nurses, surgical consultants and doctors who visited me in preparation for my operation catered for me very well. No question was left unturned. And finally, the surgeons and fellow staff members who carried out my operation made me feel at ease right until the point where I fell asleep. I know that currently at this point in time the NHS is understaffed and people are working crazy hours to ensure good treatment is provided for all, but I did not come across one person who put me to one side, or who just did not want to help me. Every single staff member made my hospital visit the nicest that it could have been (minus the severe pain that I was in). I am just very appreciative and thankful that service like this is provided.
"Very pleased"
