I came in to ED in DHH midweek evening. I was seen straight away. The staff in ED were very fast acting and I was taken to the Royal in Belfast to the cardiac lab and had an operation immediately. I was then transferred back to Daisy Hill. I am delighted with the care I have been given on the ward. The staff are fantastic, especially Caitlin. She is a fantastic nurse. She really fought hard to get me seen today for a big scan, so that I could hopefully get home tonight, if I didn’t get the scan today I would have to wait until Monday. I was made very comfortable during my stay. I honestly can’t thank the staff enough. I could have died only for the rapid response of the staff in ED, the staff in the Royal Victoria in Belfast and the amazing treatment in Coronary care in DHH. My personal experience has been excellent.
