Midwife Anne was a true gem at clinic J, New Victoria hospital antenatal clinic. She took her time to explain everything and made an effort to be seeing my throughout my pregnancy for continuity of care, to her best ability. She knew me as a person, not just another patient. She knew how to manage my hypertension which normalises with a manual BP machine hence minimised unnecessary visit to the maternity assessment unit at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
She had a great honest approach in her practice and I was extremely grateful for her care. A few extra ultrasound scans were organised towards the end of the pregnancy due to slight fetal growth concern and that reassured me as a patient. I wish every midwife is like her and this was my second pregnancy and she made a real positive impact to my experience second time around. Thank you again to midwife Anne.
