"First time mother - absolutely outstanding level of care"

Last week I came into the maternity unit at Victoria hospital to be induced. I have no other words other than wow!

The level of care I was provided from the moment I arrived to the moment I left as a mother was absolutely outstanding. I want to thank I particularly Harriet, Amelia and Laura from the induction Suite. Harriet in particular had a huge impact on my experience was second to none. She was knowledgeable kind and calm! Not to mention she was just genuinely lovely, funny and felt more like a friend than a health professional.

Following on from the induction suite I was then moved to Consultant Led Unit where the midwife looking after me was Zara and Student midwife Dawn. No words will ever be enough to describe how amazing these two women were. These ladies never once left my side. They were comforting, caring, compassionate and again just genuinely lovely people. Zara and Dawn went above and beyond to provide me the most amazing of care. They empowered me and helped me believe in myself and my body to deliver my baby! Nothing was ever too much . I don’t know how I could ever repay you both. Thank you!

Midwifes Caroline, Jenn that were on shift in the Observation unit thank you for looking after me in recovery you both helped me at an incredibly venerable time as-well as helping me become comfortable and confident as a first time mother.

Maternity Support Worker Laura you are an Angel! Thank you so so much for everything.

A huge thanks to Claire, Nursery Nurse on the maternity ward you are worth your weight in gold! The knowledge, experience and care you provided to myself and my baby was just absolutely outstanding.
