"Caring and helpful throughout"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Our six week old baby got covid and was brought into a&e and then moved into the children's ward. He received a number of tests all explained clearly to us by the nurses and doctors, and received a huge amount of care very quickly.

Once on the ward the nurses, doctors and student nurses were all extremely caring and helpful throughout. We could not have asked for better care during our stay.

Hi @leathernw87

Can I firstly start by saying a huge thank you for sharing your positive experience. It is greatly appreciated by the nurses and doctors and I shall ensure this feedback is passed on. We endeavour to provide a high quality of care and we are glad to have provided you that support and care during your stay.

I hope your little one is recovering well at home and appreciate this must have been a very worrying time for you and your family.
