"RISE school support programne"

About: Women, Children and Family Services / Regional Integrated Support for Education (RISE)

(as a service user),

My son was turned down for support by RISE because he does not meet their criteria.

He currently has the following issues:

1. Waiting on ASD/ADHD diagnosis

2. School refusal

3. Support from community social worker

4. NHS speech therapist

5. Waiting on Dyslexia screening

6. Private tutor paid for my mother due to literacy support, handwriting issues and pencil grip

7. Private play therapy with Waymaker due to ASD issues

8. Support from in school counsellor

7. Support from Start360 family therapy due to alcoholic father

RISE was asked to assist with literacy support, handwriting and pencil grip and speech therapy. His teacher and speech therapist supported him getting assistance.
