Physio rehab class

"Physio rehab class"

The physio rehab class is amazing, both psychologically and physically. Regular physio/exercise structured, under addict and with other people has been fundamental in my recovery so far. 

The facilities (gym) are minimal in terms of what's needed, it's clear that better facilities would enhance the service provided and thus patients recovery.

The fact that multiple patients can attend at once must also save money, in terms of practitioner time and increase the number of people on a recovery  programme. 

Please do more of this type of thing as ultimately it will improve my quality of life, health and reduce the risk of me coming back.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about the physio rehab classes you have recently been attending. I'm delighted to hear about the ways in which it has been helping you. I have passed your feedback on to Sophie, who runs the classes, and I know she will also be delighted to receive such positive feedback.

Within the hospital setting we are challenged in terms of space and the gym therefore may seem minimal compared to gyms in the community. However, clearly there is a profound benefit to the rehab class at the hospital and the aim is that people will continue their ongoing exercise programmes in the community when they leave our care.
