About: New Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

Appt at The New Royal Victoria Gynae Dept.

Already had Telephone appts prior to my appt with Nurse Specialist and Psychologist. 

I was met and introduced by lovely Nurses, Janice put me at ease immediately. Explained exactly what my appt would entail. 

Consulted with Dr Revicky who listened and explained what my operation would entail in detail. Gave me relative information which helped me relax and put my mind at ease. 

Also saw Physio who gave me valuable information about what would happen after my operation. 

Saw Anaesthetist who explained the drugs he would be using after my operation

I can honestly say it was all ran so smoothly. The staff were all very approachable and very knowledgeable. They were so easy to speak to. All lovely. 

Given back up written information to read at home

I was glad to hear the care and treatment your received from the staff was to a high standard and you felt at ease during your appointment.

It was very heart warming to hear how you felt listened too and all information you received was explained in detail prior to your surgery. We are aware you meet a lot of people and receive a lot of information during these clinics. We always try our best to make them go smoothly.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a pleasant experience.
