(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been on the ward for a few days after I was admitted through the emergency department, it was very busy there and I waited a while. The care I have received on this ward has been terrific  I'm very impressed. Although the staff are busy they are always able to check on you. The wards perfectly fine, I've came across no issues its extremely clean and I have found the facilities accessible.

Dear Emmgh49

The emergency department has been quite busy, we have had significant bed waits which are the biggest cause of long waiting times to be assessed in ED.

I apologise you had to wait so long, the ED team are working with patient flow and the inpatient teams to improve flow of patients through the department.
