(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

 During the recent trip to the Chithurst monastery, I stayed in the great hall to begin with. There was a fantastic introduction from the lead monk, followed by some chanting from all the monks. It was quite emotion provoking during the chanting. I then had an opportunity to listen to someone in the main house and felt that this made a real difference to this person, but also helped me.

Thank you for sharing your experience - I am so pleased you enjoyed the trip - it is an amazing tranquil place and a trip we enjoy doing as service users find it most useful. We hope to do more trips as we move into the summer months
