My Dad has various ailments, one being heart failure. He was assigned to the heart failure team at Bassetlaw, Kathleen and Heather. They were so helpful and reassuring, they managed my dad’s medication until they felt he was well and stable. At that point he was discharged from their care.
After a period of time my Dad's blood pressure and pulse had dropped to a very low level, during a routine appointment at the surgery the practice nurse checked the blood pressure and was very concerned, and we’re unsure what they could do, wanting to send him to hospital.
I called Kathleen and she agreed to see Dad, he was once again assigned back to her and after a quick change of meds was stable and feeling much better. It is so reassuring knowing they are there to help.
