"Involved in the discussions"

I would like to thank the urgent ophthalmology service. I was referred from my optician. I was seen promptly at Ninewells and received great treatment. The most important thing for me was how kind and understanding they were. The nurse put me at ease and the specialist registrar was so patient examining me when my eye was so sore. I had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and even decide what follow up might best suit me. I felt involved in the discussions and reassured when I was so worried.
