Words of patient written by her husband
Admitted with broken hip in shower fall which became infected in hospital after approximately 80 days.
The staff in Ward 23 led by Sister Jocelyn were amazing throughout the stay. Everything that you think nurses could and should do were outstanding. Polite friendly, caring and so concerned. The staff were so understanding of my needs. They also showed the same compassion and attitude to family and friends.
As a retired police officer, I am very well aware of the need for leadership skills in a team. Sister Jocelyn's leadership skills reflect on all members of staff at Ward 23. I have attended the Royal Alexandra Hospital over a number of years, bowel cancer, hemochromatosis and have always received outstanding treatment.
We want to thank the staff so much.
"Outstanding treatment and leadership"
