"Admitted to hospital after a fall"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Frailty Ward (Ramone Ward 1) Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Called an ambulance after falling at home. I waited 2 hours which I didn't think was too bad. Spent a day in Ambulance Triage can't complain about that either. I was then moved up to the ward in Ramone.

Staff have been excellent and my care has been very good. I feel there is not a test they haven't done or suggested, they have been very intense in finding out why I keep falling.

Food isn't bad, its not home but I haven't gone hungry.

Good Afternoon Jilbh93

I would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to share your experience of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was encouraging to discover the quick response time in spite of the current pressures that are upon the ambulance service so that immediate help could be administered to bring ease and comfort for your transport to the emergency department. As an organisation we are committed to consistently show compassion, professionalism and respect for the patients we care for.

I hope you are recovering well.
