I was told that the walls of my womb had thickened and an internal investigation was needed - a hysteroscopy.
I was very nervous as previous internal examinations were painful.
My surgeon, Mr Bashieri, offered me a general anaesthetic but having been told that the procedure could be stopped at any time, I decided to go ahead with a local as planned.
I was made to feel that my concerns were listened to and solutions offered.
There were 3 nurses with me the whole time - Helena, Becky and Yvonne - who looked after me from start to finish.
Along with the Hysteroscopy, a Endometrial polypectomy/biopsy procedure was carried out too.
The experience was completely positive and I am so grateful to the team for their care and consideration.
"Completely positive experience and I am so grateful to the team"
