"All very good from start to finish, no complaints at all"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy at Grantham Hospital. On arrival was greeted by a nurse who asked personal questions first then was taken to the day ward and shown to my bed.

Another nurse then came and put wrist bands on took my blood pressure , sugar. A temp and another put a Cannular into my arm .

I was then taken to the theatre where the doctor was waiting asked if I wanted sedation which I refused so he ask me if it was alright to carry on I gave my consent and he started.

About half way through I was feeling terrible pain so they gave me air and gas the reason for this was my bowl is twisted he carried on all the time talking calmly and so did the nurses in the end it was carried out and I was taken back to the ward . I was given to another nurse then who looked after me while I left all very good from start to finish, no complaints at all.

Thank you all .
